Appeal for specific witnesses following robbery in Walton Park

At around 7pm on Tuesday (6/7) two teenagers were at the junction of Bartholomew Close and Simpson Road when they were approached by two men who came out of the alleyway opposite Bartholomew Close.  

The men briefly spoke to the teenagers and then started to punch them. As the two teenagers ran away, they dropped items of clothing and a bag containing a smartphone and earphones.
When they later went to collect their items they found that they had been taken.

Officers appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any CCTV or doorbell camera footage from the area between 7 and 7.30pm on Tuesday to get in touch.

They are particularly keen to hear from a couple that are believed to have witnessed this incident taking place and then spoke with another member of the public afterwards. Officers believe that they have information that could prove vital to this investigation.
