Appeal for witnesses following assault in Bodicote

At around 10.30pm on Sunday (2/5) a couple were walking home along Sideleigh Road, Bodicote. The woman was walking ahead and lost sight of her partner, when the woman retraced her steps she found her partner lying down with a serious unexplained head injury.

It is believed two men were seen running away towards East Street. No descriptions are available at this time.

The victim sustained injuries to his head and required treatment at the Horton General Hospital.

Officers believe an altercation took place which led to the victim’s injuries.
