Checking your Scheme details - Additional advice

Alert message sent 16/03/2021 15:43:00

Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

Dear Coordinators
Very many thanks to everyone who has already responded to my message this morning. That is much appreciated. A few common queries are already apparent, so, to possibly save you asking the same questions, please note the following points:

1) NOT A COORDINATOR? My apologies, but a few Members were added accidentally to the Coordinator list used this morning. Mea culpa! If you are simply a Member, please ignore the message UNLESS you know that your scheme is not longer operational, in which case, please let me know.

2) PROBLEM ACCESSING WEBSITE? If you try to log-in to the ourwatch website and you get a message saying 'This site is not safe' or similar, it is probably because your system has not put the full prefix (including the 's') in front of the url. Please try again, using https//

3) WHAT SHOULD THE 'NUMBER OF MEMBERS' REPRESENT? I know this is a confusing point! The Scheme Admin page should show the number of Scheme members in total - those you regard as members of your Scheme, even if they are not individual members of NHW. We can see the number who have signed up (and we prefer ALL Scheme members to do so) but this figure is they only way we have of knowing how many residents in total are covered by your Scheme.

I hope these points may help those yet to consider my earlier message.

Many thanks again,
