🚨 Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour in Wantage 🚨

Wantage town centre has recently been affected by ongoing anti-social behaviour caused by a small number of individuals.
The Wantage & Grove Neighbourhood Team is actively taking steps to address this and protect our community.

In response to this behaviour, this week, we have taken the following actions:

✅ 6 Acceptable Behaviour Contracts (ABCs) issued – These are voluntary agreements made with individuals to encourage better behaviour and prevent further issues.

✅ 1 Community Protection Warning (CPW) issued – This is a formal warning that sets out what behaviour must stop. If ignored, it can lead to more serious legal action.

✅ 1 Child Abduction Warning Notice (CAWN) issued – This prevents an adult from being in the company of a specific child under 18, where there are safeguarding concerns.

We are committed to keeping Wantage safe and welcoming for everyone.

We will not tolerate this type of behaviour, and if it continues further enforcement action will be taken.

🔵 If you witness anti-social behaviour, please report it. Together, we can make a difference. https://www.thamesvalley.police.uk/reportasb
