Setting Local Community Priorities - Thank you |

Thank You for Helping Shape Your Local Policing Priorities The Neighbourhood Policing Team would like to thank everyone who took the time to complete the recent Community Priorities Survey for Abingdon Town and the Abingdon Outer Villages. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us understand the issues that matter most to local residents, businesses, and communities. We have received a significant number of responses and are now reviewing the results. The three priorities identified by the community will be carefully assessed alongside local crime and anti-social behaviour data. This will ensure that the issues selected are those where the police, working with partner agencies and the community, can make the greatest impact through targeted problem-solving, engagement, prevention, and enforcement activity. These priorities will help shape the focus of your local Neighbourhood Policing Team over the next three to six months and will guide our efforts to tackle the concerns that affect our communities most. A Message from the Local Sergeant - Chris Cochrane"I would like to personally thank everyone who took the time to share their views and complete the survey. Policing is at its most effective when it is informed by the communities we serve. By working together, sharing information, and identifying the issues that matter most, we can focus our efforts where they are needed and work alongside our partners to find long-term solutions. Your feedback plays an important role in helping us make Abingdon Town and the surrounding villages safer places to live, work, and visit." We will provide a further update once the new community priorities have been agreed and explain how we will be addressing them in partnership with local organisations and residents. Thank you for your continued support. Abingdon Neighbourhood Policing Team | ||
