Theft from vehicles

Good afternoon,

There has been an increase in reports of theft from vehicles locally. Opportunist thieves often target vehicles that are left unattended, unlocked or contain valuables in plain sight.

Please ensure vehicles are locked, windows are fully closed, and no valuables are left on display. Items such as bags, wallets, tools, mobile phones and even clothing should be removed from vehicles whenever possible.

If you witness any suspicious activity or have information that may assist police enquiries, please report it via 101 or online.
