Yesterday, 26/09, Beaver and Mitsy headed off for a family reunion of sorts...
Our team met up with Faringdon NHPT, bringing Beaver and Mitsy face-to-face with Faringdon's truck, whose registration just happens to end in BUV.
So naturally...
Meet their BUV-va. 😂🚔

We'll give you a moment to recover from that truly exceptional piece of police humour.

With the family reunited, Beaver, Mitsy and BUV-va headed off with their respective humans to the Ploughing Championship. 🚜🌾
A great opportunity for the Wantage & Grove and Faringdon teams to catch up, meet plenty of people and enjoy some proper rural neighbourhood policing.

Everything was going remarkably well...
...until one of our officers managed to get themselves on Witney Radio. 🎙️📻
We don't know who decided giving one of us a microphone was a good idea, but the officer concerned is now referring to themselves as a "broadcasting professional" and is believed to be awaiting a call from the BBC. 😂

Meanwhile, Beaver and Mitsy are just pleased to have finally met their BUV-va.

We're not saying there'll be a family Christmas card...
