Use of Illegal E-Bikes

We are raising awareness and requesting assistance in identifying those using illegal E-Bikes in Thame and the local surrounding areas. 

Officers are particularly interested in a Black Sur-Ron style bike (pictured) that was seen riding in the Thame town centre on Saturday 1st August 2026 at 15:30 in which the rider was wearing a balaclava. 

If anyone has any information as to who may have been using the bike at this time or where the bike may be coming from, especially caught on forms of CCTV or DashCam, then we ask that they please contact local officers or respond to this message.
