Day of action against ASB and retail crime in Newbury with Mounted Section

Hello Resident,

We have been tackling anti-social behaviour and retail crime in Newbury with a day of action with our Mounted Section and local officers.

The operation saw our horses patrol alongside the Newbury Neighbourhood Policing Team and Newbury Disruption Team in key locations across the town, providing a highly visible policing presence and engaging with the public.

Our efforts to prevent these crimes does not start or end with this day of action though, with officers working every day to protect our communities.

The Mounted Section's visible presence helps deter crime and anti-social behaviour, while creating great opportunities to build relationships with the public.
