Appeal for witnesses to sexual assault

Hello Resident,

We are appealing for witnesses to a sexual assault in Witney.

A man inappropriately touched a teenage girl over her clothing in an alleyway adjacent to St Mary’s Church on Church Green at around 8.30pm on Friday.

The victim pushed the offender away and walked back in direction of The Leys, where Witney Music Festival was taking place.

The offender is described as a white man in his late fifties, around 6ft tall, of slim build, with dark black hair and wearing a black Lacoste t-shirt, dark grey cargo shorts, and black shoes.
