Incident at Buckingham Skate Park

Yesterday, several reports have been made to Thames Valley Police about a young male carrying a large knife.

Based on the reports and description given of the male, and others with him, the Police Helicopter located those matching the descriptions given. Officers have detained those believed to be involved, based on the initial reports received. A large knife was recovered from the area and following further investigation at the scene, one male has been arrested and was taken to Police Custody.

The allegations made yesterday, are now being investigated.

There was a large number of youths at the Skate Park yesterday afternoon, and from reports made, several people may have been threatened or shown a knife. If anyone would like to pass on any information regarding this incident, please call 101 and quote reference 43260284772.
