Another vehicle off the road

On 31/05/2026, we were out and about on our patch keeping an eye on the local goings‑on when a vehicle caught our attention. 

We stopped the car, but as we approached, it suddenly drove off.

A few yards down the road, the driver clearly reconsidered. He probably read our previous posts and knows I’m fed up of chasing people. He pulled over, apologised, and admitted he panicked.

It then became clear why. He had no licence, no insurance, and a small amount of cannabis.

He was dealt with for the cannabis at the roadside and will attend Court at a later date for the driving offences.

Driving a vehicle isn’t a right — it’s a privilege.

Those who think they can use our roads irresponsibly and put others at risk will be dealt with appropriately.
