HOT WEATHER AND OUR DOGS! It can be very dangerous and will cause your dog suffering and harm
ADVICE FROM THE RSPCA INCLUDES: 3. You can call the RSPCA cruelty line for advice on 03001234999, but if the dog is in danger dialling 999 should be your first step. 2. Try and keep to shady areas/woods etc 3. Carry water for the walk 4. Check the pavement temperature with the back of your hand to avoid burned paws. Try to stick to grassy areas. 5. STOP walking if dog shows any signs of heatstroke, heavy panting & difficulty breathing, excessive drooling, drowsy or uncoordinated, collapsed or vomiting.
