Action Fraud has changed its name. It is now known as Report Fraud.

Report Fraud is the place to tell the police about cyber crime and fraud. Using the service you can make a report online or by phone on 0300 123 2040.

They also provide the Report Fraud Victim Service which offers dedicated, and specialist help to victims of cyber crime and fraud.

The service is run by the City of London Police. Our Report Fraud Analysis Services team are responsible for the assessment of reports made and to ensure that your fraud reports reach the right place.

The City of London Police is the national policing lead for economic crime and works in partnership with policing and other law enforcement agencies.

What does this mean for you?

You can still report fraud and scams in the same way

The phone number remains the same: 0300 123 2040

The service is still the national reporting centre for fraud

Reports will continue to be passed to police forces for investigation
