Witness appeal following serious assault – Maidenhead

Dear resident, 

Were you in the Calder Close/Calder Court area of Maidenhead last Monday (30 March) at around 10.30pm?

A boy in his teens was assaulted in an alleyway by an unknown number of people, causing serious injuries to his hand. He was taken to hospital where he received treatment.

As part of our investigation into this incident, we have arrested a 24-year-old man from Bradford and a 20-year-old man from Slough on suspicion of Section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent. They have both been released from custody on conditional police bail to allow for further enquiries to take place. 

We are appealing to anybody who was in the area at the time and witnessed this incident, or saw anything suspicious, to please come forward.

We would also like to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam, CCTV or mobile phone footage that may assist this investigation.
