Appeal for information following attempted murder

Hello Resident,

We are appealing for information following an attempted murder in Bicester yesterday.

A woman in her sixties was stabbed by a person known to her in an address in Fair Close at around 4.15pm. The victim suffered multiple stab wounds but has been discharged from hospital.

We understand this will be concerning for the community but we have one person in custody and we are not looking for anyone else so we do not believe there is any risk to the wider public.

There is a scene in place at the address and you can expect an increased police presence in the wider area while we investigate. Please speak to a uniformed officer if you have any concerns.

We are doing everything we can to investigate and serve the victim, who fortunately only suffered minor injuries, but please get in touch if you can help.
