Witness appeal following burglary - The Hide, Netherfield, Milton Keynes

Hello Resident,

We are appealing for information following a report of burglary in (Netherfield).

The incident occurred between/around (0800-1812hrs) on (Thursday 19th February 2026) in (Ther Hide, Netherfield, Milton Keynes).

We would just like to make people aware that a local resident has arrived home after being at work and has noticed that their front door was insecure. At this stage we are still unknown as to whether this has been a burglary or not. We (Police) would just like to just make people aware to be mindful at this stage.

Keep valuables out of view from windows.

🚨 INCREASE THE CHANCES OF DETECTION

Install a police‑approved intruder alarm system.

Consider visible CCTV or a video doorbell.

🧳 WHEN YOU GO OUT

Close and lock all windows and doors; follow a home security checklist.

Use light timers to make your home look occupied.

Don’t advertise being away on social media.

Easy and unseen access routes like side and rear entries.

Overgrown vegetation or open/insecure windows and doors.
