Working Together to Keep Our Community Safe 🌟

This week, we joined forces with Thames Valley Police and Oxford Brookes University for a powerful event focused on tackling Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).
Throughout the day, students and staff engaged in important conversations and learned about key safety initiatives including:

👥 Ask Angela – A discreet way for anyone feeling unsafe to get help from venue staff.
🚨 Operation Vigilant – Targeting predatory behaviour to keep nights out safe.
🌙 Operation Night Safe – Supporting vulnerability in the night-time economy and ensuring everyone can enjoy their evenings safely.

The event was a real success, bringing together community partners and empowering people with knowledge, support, and practical tools to stay safe.
