Faringdon Neighbourhood Team have seen an increase in residential burglaries over the last week. These are happening late afternoon as it gets dark, with offenders forcing open rear windows and targeting high‑value jewellery and cash. Homeowners have not been present during the incidents. You’ll see extra police patrols while we investigate.

If you see anything suspicious, please call 999 immediately.

Keep your home secure:
• Lock all windows & doors
• Set alarms
• Consider CCTV / Ring doorbells
• Fit window alarms
• Keep valuables out of sight and secure
