It was a busy Sunday for the team yesterday — no feet up for us!

We were alerted to a theft from a motor vehicle and the theft of a push bike at St Mary’s, Wantage 🚗 🚲

After some enquiries and a bit of good old-fashioned police work, we identified a male believed to be involved, from the Banbury area.

👉 As a result, the team headed to Banbury for a little road trip.

The male was located… but clearly wasn’t keen to stick around 🏃
Following a short foot chase, officers caught up with him and he was arrested, still riding the stolen bike.

✅ Stolen bike recovered
🚓 Male charged and remanded

He will be appearing in court today.
