Thames Valley Police – Appeal for Information Following Vehicle Interference in Thame & Towersey

Dear Residents,

Thames Valley Police are investigating multiple incidents of Vehicle Interference that occurred in both Thame and Towersey during the early hours of the morning.

We are appealing for information following reports of an individual trying car door handles at the following times:

Thame: Sunday 4th January, between 02:00–03:30

Towersey: Friday 2nd January, between 02:00–03:30

We are keen to identify anyone who believes their vehicle may have been targeted, as well as any residents with CCTV, doorbell camera, or dash‑cam footage during these times.

If you have footage or information that could assist our investigation, please contact Thames Valley Police via 101, or Webform, quoting the relevant date and location, or report online.

This is also a timely reminder to:

Remove all valuables from your vehicle, including bags, tools, and electronics

Double‑check your vehicle is locked, even when parked on your driveway

Report suspicious behaviour immediately

Your information could be vital in identifying the offender and preventing further offences.
