Do you remember the Bill and Ben flower pot theft series from earlier in the year?! 🌼🪴

We’re pleased to update the community that the offenders were identified and found to be from outside the area. Evidence was gathered and, during interview, they accepted full responsibility for the offences.

They have now been formally dealt with and ordered to pay over £900 in compensation to the victims whose flower pots were sadly not recovered.

The good news is that we did recover over 20 flower pots. Most were successfully returned to their rightful owners, however a small number were not claimed.

So, PC Oldroyd was chuffed to donate the remaining pots to The Wantage Sanctuary Care Home, where they were gratefully received and will help cheer up the residents 💙
