Appeal for witnesses following robbery series - Didcot |
||
|
Thames Valley Police is releasing images of three people officers would like to speak to in connection with a series of robberies in Didcot. Since Wednesday 29 November this year, we have received three reports of males entering the Co-op store on Mersey Way and stealing tobacco, threatening and pushing staff in the process. The most recent incident took place at around 7pm on Sunday (14/12). Investigating officer, Detective Constable Elena Ticanet of Thames Valley Police’s Priority Crime Team, said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed the incident on Sunday, as we believe there were a number of customers inside the store at the time who helped staff. “We would also like to hear from anyone who recognises the people pictured, as we think they may have information to assist our investigation. “If you witnessed what happened, recognise those pictured, or have any other information that may assist our enquiries, no matter how small it may seem, please call 101 or make a report via our website, quoting reference number 43250634969. “If you don’t want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.” To read the full appeal, including the images, click here.
