Appeal for witnesses following assault – Bicester |
Dear resident,
We are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Bicester. Just after 6.30pm yesterday (11/12), a teenage boy was attacked by three offenders at the entrance to Town Walk North on Magdalen Close, near the bottom of the cul-de-sac. At this stage we have reason to believe the teenager sustained stab injuries to his legs, hand and face which required hospital treatment as a result of this incident. They have since been discharged. The offenders are described as three males, one of whom is white. All were wearing dark clothing and face coverings, and they alighted from a dark blue Ford Fiesta. While we are in the early stages of our investigation, at this time we believe this was a targeted attack and that those involved are likely known to each other. We are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have CCTV, doorbell, or dash-cam footage from the area around Magdalen Close at the time of the incident, to please come forward. Enquiries have established that that the incident was directly witnessed by a male who was wearing an orange high visibility tabard and encourage this individual to identify themselves to police as they may have vital information to help our investigation. There will be an increased police presence in Bicester over the weekend as our enquiries continue. Anyone with information about this incident can report online or by calling 101, quoting reference 43250630036. If you wish to remain anonymous, you can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
