🐶 Wantage and Grove NHPT – Dog Control Reminder 🐾

We’ve received a report of an incident involving an aggressive dog in the Harwell area.

We’d like to remind all dog owners of their legal and moral responsibility to keep their pets under control at all times — especially in public spaces.

⚠️ Under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, it is an offence for a dog to be dangerously out of control in a public place. This includes situations where a dog causes fear or injury to a person or another animal.
👣 Dogs should only be walked by someone who is physically capable of managing them. Please do not allow children to walk your dog if they are unable to control it properly.
✅ The responsibility lies with the owner. Failing to control your dog could result in serious consequences, including prosecution.
