Hello Resident, We have been enhancing our work to tackle domestic abuse by coming together for a day of action in every corner of the Thames Valley. Since May, we have: ✅ Executed 108 arrest attempts and 7 fail-to-appear warrants, leading to 49 people in our custody. This resulted in 5 suspects being charged and remanded, 34 being released on police bail with strict conditions, 5 being given conditional cautions, and 5 being released with no further action. ✅ Downloaded 26 electronic devices seized from suspects ✅ Progressed 18 domestic abuse-related cases ✅ Conducted 17 voluntary interviews ✅ Completed 10 domestic violence prevention order checks, 2 Clare’s Law disclosures, 2 repeat victim engagements and 2 multi-agency tasking and coordination visits to manage high-risk domestic abuse perpetrators. ✅ Held 3 community stands in busy public areas to share advice and support The operations were delivered to enhance our work that goes on every day to tackle domestic abuse across the Thames Valley, recognising we see a rise in demand during the summer months. We continue to fight crime and support victims every day by bringing offenders to justice. We want victims to know they’re not alone, we’re here to support them and will do everything we can to bring those responsible to justice. Read more on our website. Kind regards, | ||
