Appeal for witnesses following serious injury collision – Banbury

Dear resident,

Did you witness a collision on Thursday (23/10) at around 11.40pm between a cyclist and a dark grey BMW 420d?

It happened on Hennef Way at the junction with Southam Road in Banbury.

The cyclist, a man in his thirties, was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

We have arrested a 21-year-old man and 24-year-old man, both from Banbury, on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. They have been released on conditional police bail to allow for further enquiries to take place.
