Witness appeal following incident of GBH - Aylesbury |

We are appealing for information following an assault occasioning grievous bodily harm in Aylesbury. Between 6pm and 7pm on Sunday (5/10) a man was assaulted by three men wearing balaclavas near to the benches on the grassy area of Stadium Approach. One of the men has used a baseball bat or similar item to assault the victim, a man aged in his thirties. The assault is believed to be racially aggravated due to the comments made to the victim during the incident. The offenders are described as all men, wearing balaclavas. Two of them were wearing dark clothing and the third was wearing grey clothing, but there is no other description available at this time. The victim sustained a broken leg and was treated in hospital. He has since been discharged. Investigating officer Detective Constable Charlotte Wood said: “This assault has occurred early in the evening on Sunday and appears to have been racially aggravated. “I am appealing to anybody who was in the area and witnessed the incident, or anybody who has any information that can help this investigation to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.” Anyone with information about this incident can report online or by calling 101, quoting reference 43250508574.
