🚦 A338 Temporary Traffic Lights – Safety Reminder 🚦

We completely understand the frustration that the temporary traffic lights on the A338 (Grove Road, near the new Lidl) are causing — it’s a busy route and delays can be difficult.
However, we’ve received a large number of reports of drivers jumping the red lights, which is making the area extremely dangerous for road workers and other road users.

Please remember:
🔴 Jumping a red light is illegal and puts lives at risk.
👷 Road workers deserve a safe working environment.
🚗 Other drivers and pedestrians are also being endangered.

We’re currently working with our council partners to explore enforcement options, including the possible use of cameras.
➡️ We urge everyone to remain patient and obey the traffic signals.

Delays are frustrating – but safety must always come first.
