Thames Valley Police Specialist Search Unit deployed to Windsor for state visit

Dear resident, 

We have today deployed our Specialist Search Unit to Windsor ahead of the state visit of President Donald Trump.

Our licensed search officers will be in the town, searching public areas, checking routes, and making sure everything is secure, ahead of the visit. 

This team is one of many that will be present and in operation. While some tactics will be visible to the public, there will be other policing tactics that the public will not see.

If you have any concerns, please speak to one of our uniformed officers.
