Berkshire East ‘day of action’ to tackle domestic abuse makes significant impact on victims and offenders

Hello Resident,

Our officers and staff came together for a ‘day of action’ to make a significant impact on domestic abuse victim and offenders in Berkshire East yesterday.

Uniformed officers and detectives joined forces to arrest eight people wanted for domestic violence or threats, controlling and coercive behaviour, breaching bail conditions, or economic, psychological or emotional abuse across Bracknell Forest, Slough, and Windsor and Maidenhead boroughs. 

The operation was delivered to enhance our work that goes on every day to tackle domestic abuse across the Thames Valley, recognising we see a rise in demand during the summer months.

We want victims to know they are not alone, and we will do everything we can to support them and bring offenders to justice.
