Appeal for witnesses to a burglary – Kidlington


We are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Kidlington.  

 

Around 10.20pm on Saturday (17/5) on Bicester Road, Kidlington an offender has gained entry to a property. They entered through an upstairs window after climbing on the conservatory roof. Several items were stolen including watches. 

 

During the burglary, the homeowners’ security alarm was activated and a smoke system was deployed. 

 

After leaving the scene, the offender will likely have sustained some level of irritation from the fog system, including reddened eyes, sore throat and possibly irritated skin. 

 

Investigating officer Detective Constable Sophie Smith, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and may have seen the offender to please come forward to talk to us. 

 

“I would ask anybody who may have door-cam footage to please check and contact us if it has captured anything that may assist the investigation.
