UPDATE: Arrest made in connection with sexual assaults and stalking incident – Slough

Hello Resident,

We have made an arrest in connection with two sexual assaults on a bus and a stalking incident in Slough town centre. The 43-year-old man from the town has since been bailed.

On two separate occasions in January and March this year, a man touched a woman inappropriately over her clothing on the London Line 702 bus from London to Slough.

Then, between 7.30pm and 8pm on Friday, the offender tried to sit next to the victim on the bus but she put her bag on the seat. The victim then got off at her stop on Wellington Street, Slough, but the offender followed her off the bus and tried to engage with her. The victim approached a man for help, who stopped the offender, allowing her to leave.

We are still appealing for anyone who witnessed any of these incidents, and the man who helped the victim on Friday, to call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43250216796.
