Good Afternoon Resident

Whilst on patrol in Wallingford last night (27/04/2025), Tesco's in Cholsey contacted Police to state that two regular shoplifters were in store stealing items. PCSO's from the Didcot and Wallingford Team headed immediately to Cholsey Train Station where two suspects were located matching the description of the offenders. 

With help from a Neighbourhood PC the suspects were detained for a search and subsequently arrested following prompt CCTV enquires to identify them as those involved. 

We are aware that Tesco's have been hit considerably over the past few months and this was great work by all involved. An investigation is now underway.
