Appeal for witnesses following an incident of livestock worrying – Faringdon


We are appealing for witnesses following an incident of livestock worrying in Faringdon. 

 

Yesterday (24/4), between 4pm and 5.15pm, on Highworth Road, Watchfield, Faringdon, a sheep was attacked by a dog and has sadly died.  

 

Investigating officer PC Alasdair Uren, from our Rural Crime Taskforce, said: “I would like to hear from anybody who has dash-cam, CCTV or doorbell camera footage that has captured the incident to please contact us. 

 

“You can make a report via our website or by calling 101, quoting crime reference number 43250199751.

 

“Alternatively, for 100% anonymity, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
