We are appealing for witnesses to an assault in Oxford city centre in the early hours of this morning.

An offender punched a man in his late teens after an argument, causing him to lose both front teeth, by the Carfax Tower on Queen Street at around 1.10am.

We have made an arrest but there were multiple members of the public around at the time, including taxi drivers.
