We have recently seen activity relating to keyless car theft in the Marlow Area 

The team are currently investigating a report of a suspicious male at a premises at 02:10hrs early Tuesday morning on 15/04/2025, the CCTV footage shows the male holding an electronic device near the front door of the address. Most likely, this was an attempt to exploit the keyless technology of the car on the driveway. Luckily, the owners had taken precautions of keeping their keys in a Faraday pouch to stop the signal being accessed by car thieves. 

If you have a keyless entry vehicle please remember: 

- Keep keys in faraday pouches or alternatively a metal box 

- Keep all keys away from the front of your property

- Use a mechanical steering lock as an additional visual deterrent 

- Block desirable vehicles in using another vehicle or security post 

- If you do have access to a garage, please make sure to utilise it
