Here is the latest selection of engagements and activities from your Wokingham North NHPT – covering Earley, Woodley, Winnersh and Twyford areas. For anything that you want to tell us about that isn’t 101 or 999 and to assist in our priorities for your area, please use the survey responses below.
As well as our regular duties, officers; ❤️ PC’s Young and Bogdanova attended a road traffic collision, car vs cyclist, in Earley. We are relieved to share that no serious injuries were sustained. Separately, PC’s Scullin, Saunders and Simpson-Holland attended the scene of a Road Traffic Accident, car vs car, and administered aid at the scene until assistance arrived.
❤️ PC’s Young and Bogdanova went to the aid a man complaining of cardiac issues in Twyford, and provided first aid until the ambulance service arrived.
⚖️ The Wokingham North team assisted Bracknell South neighbourhood team in securing charges against a man suspected of dealing both Class A and Class B drugs.
🐇 PCSO’s Ispas, Elson and Sparks, crewed with PC D’Amaro attended the Earley Easter Family Fun event, showcasing the van (and sirens – sorry neighbours!) to the young visitors. Parents and children alike also wanted to experience “the cage” – who are we to say no…
👀 PCSO’s Elson, Hobart and Sparks hopped over to the other side and assisted our Reading colleagues with a scene watch.
⚖️ PC Simpson-Holland headed up the Wokingham North Team on a shoplifting operation in order to support our local retailers and deter theft. Following on from this, the Wokingham North team welcomed SC 9585 Berry to the team, and with PC’s Bogdanova and Young they arrested a shoplifter from Sainsbury’s in Winnersh. This suspect has been charged with this offence.
🎈 PCSO Ispas attended the fete of Earley council, this years supported charity is Daisy’s Dream – providing vital support for children and young people facing bereavement—helping them prepare for a loss or navigate life after losing someone important.
🗣️ PC D'Amaro, with PCSOs Ispas and Elson were joined by the Wokingham Borough Council ASB Team and held a Have Your Say in Maiden Place, to listen to your comments and suggestions about the local area.
