Theft from Vehicle's - M1 Motorway Services

Good Afternoon Resident

 

We would like to make you aware there have been some recent thefts from vehicles that have occurred at the Newport Pagnell M1 Services.

If you are parking within the services, please take the following measures to ensure your vehicle and belongings are safe.

  • Lock Up: Always lock your vehicle, even if you’re stepping away for just a moment. Ensure all windows and doors are properly secured.
  • Hide Valuables: Keep any valuables out of sight. Either remove them from your car or place them in the boot or glove compartment where they’re not visible.
  • Park Smart: Whenever possible, park in well-lit, populated areas, ideally with CCTV coverage.
  • Remove Temptations: Avoid leaving items such as bags, electronics, or even loose change in plain view—they can be an easy target for thieves.
