Thefts from the CO-OP in Great Linford

Dear Residents of Great Linford,

I am writing to inform you about a recent increase in thefts from the Co-op store on St Leger Court. The store has reported a rise in shoplifting incidents, particularly involving schoolchildren stealing confectionery items after school hours.

In response to this, I am working closely with the store and their security team to review CCTV footage. Additionally, I will be attending local schools to speak with staff in an attempt to identify those responsible.

I kindly ask for the support of parents and guardians in addressing this issue. Please take the time to speak with your children about the impact of shoplifting - not only on local businesses but also on their own future. Theft is a criminal offence and can have long-term consequences for those involved.

If you have any information regarding these incidents, or if you have witnessed any suspicious behaviour in or around the store, please do not hesitate to contact me. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated in helping to reduce crime and keep our community safe.
