Patrol updates for PCSO Miller and PC Ahmed, a busy day.

Out and about nice and early on foot patrols in the town centre this morning with PC Jenkins, we came across an ILLEGAL E- bike being ridden and also an E- scooter at the same time, both were seized in response to the publics concerns + they are not allowed to be used on public roads / pavements. Both riders will face fees of around £200 to get these machines back. Please check or ask us if thinking about purchasing your own machine. 

Then we attended one of our retailers in response to an attempted high value shoplifting in which shop staff were driven at by the suspect resulting in one victim receiving minor injuries, enquiries conducted quickly identified the vehicle involved and further enquiries are ongoing with the vehicle involved already seized.

Within all of this and related enquirie and paperwork we also carried out other things including some patrols, engaging with shoppers and local retailers etc.
