Now that we have seen a glorious bit of sun in recent days, more people are out and about enjoying the countryside and the many areas of outstanding natural beauty we are lucky enough to have in our area.

There has been a recent rise in other areas of the county of thefts from motor vehicles where thieves target vehicles parked, usually in more remote and rural areas. 

Please ensure that valuables are not left on display in vehicles and any suspicious activity of individuals or vehicles are reported to police via 101 or online.
