Dear Resident,
We are appealing for witnesses following an incident in which a man was found at the mini-roundabout near Priest Hill. At around 12.13pm on Friday (28/2) a member of the public found a man lying on the grass verge near to the mini-roundabout. His bicycle was found half in the road. Medical attention was provided at the scene to the man in his fifties. He was taken by ambulance to hospital but was sadly pronounced dead. His family have been informed. Investigating officer Detective Constable James Bish, said: “Firstly my thoughts remain with the family of the man who sadly died. “An investigation is ongoing into this incident, the man who was found on the verge did not seem to have sustained any obvious physical injuries consistent with a road traffic collision and this incident may have been a medical episode. “However we are keeping an open mind and looking for anyone with witness information, dash-cam footage or CCTV to please come forward if they have not already done so. “If you have information please call us on 101 or you can add information on our online pages, quoting reference 43250099646.”
Thanks,
Thames Valley Police
