🚨 INCIDENT

At around 3pm this afternoon, officers were called to an assault in the Upton Lea area of Slough, just off Uxbridge Road, where a woman aged in her fifties was located seriously injured inside a property.
She has been taken to hospital and is in a critical condition.
A 57-year-old man from Slough has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in police custody at this time.
At this time, we are not looking for any other party in connection with this incident, and the victim and suspect are known to each other.
There will be a scene-watch in place at the location while the investigation continues.
