We are pleased to announce that we are holding a Doorstep Crime & Scam Awareness webinar via Microsoft Teams. This webinar is free, and anyone can join the session.
Date: Tuesday 11 March Time: 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM Venue: Microsoft Teams (in the comfort of your own home / office)
Doorstep crimes involve individuals coming to your door with the intent to scam you out of money or gain access to your home. To learn how to protect yourself, join our webinar featuring Matthew Sheppard from Milton Keynes City Council’s Trading Standards Team.
The webinar will also cover illegal money lending (loan sharks), with insights provided by our second speaker, Nadeem Mahammed, from The Illegal Money Lending Team, a specialised criminal investigation unit based in Birmingham. Additionally, Clive Henly, from Acorn Community Bank will discuss the services they can offer the residents of Milton Keynes.
