Dear Thames Valley Alert subscribers of the Chiltern & South Bucks districts,

As the contents of this message might affect local residents more widely than just those near to Chalfont Saint Peter and Gerrards Cross, I have increased the recipient list, accordingly.

Following intelligence that an unauthorised pony and trap event is due to take place around the Gerrards Cross and Chalfont St Peter area this weekend, a Section 34 dispersal order will be in effect from 03:00am tomorrow (08/02) until 03:00am on Monday (10/02).

This will give officers extra powers to deal with anti-social behaviour and crime in the mapped area (attached).

Thames Valley Police has an extensive policing operation in place to implement preventative measures and ensure public safety. Our officers will take action where necessary if criminal offences are identified.

If you’re in the area and have any concerns, you can speak to any of our officers who will be on patrol today and throughout the weekend.
