Theft from Vehicles

Dear Resident,

Last night the West Berkshire Police Cadets were out and about in your area knocking on doors and providing safety advice and suggestions around target hardening in relation to a recent spate of theft from vehicles.

This is just a follow up message to remind those who spoke to the cadets and an initial piece of advice for those who didn't.

Please remember to always lock your vehicles

Don't leave bags of valuables on display

Consider CCTV (dash cams, doorbell cameras, etc.)

Also, ALWAYS report a crime. If you aren't sure if one is taking place, it is better to be safe than sorry.

Call 999 in an emergency of if the crime is in progress.

Call 101 if it is urgent but not an emergency.

Complete a WebForm at Home | Thames Valley Police if you don't require urgent police attendance.

Many thanks
