Keep your home safe.
At this time of year with early dark evenings, it is recommended that you utilise timer switches or smart light devices so that lights come on in your absence and your home appears occupied, also ensure doors and windows are secured whenever your home is left unoccupied, ensure that side gates are also closed and secured. Burglars love to find properties that they don’t actually have to break into, and can either simply walk into and readily reach or climb into. Further crime prevention advice is available on the force website www.thamesvalley.police.uk If you are already looking out for your neighbours, you might like to make it more formal, and consider setting up a Neighbourhood Watch check out www.ourwatch.org.uk for more information. | ||||
