Thames Valley Police is releasing an e-fit image depicting a man officers would like to speak to in connection with an incident of sexual assault in Dorney.

At around 2.20pm on Friday (17/1), a woman was jogging alongside the Jubilee River in Dorney with her dog, when she spotted a man in front of her.

The woman continued her run and then saw the man had followed behind her.

She stopped to let him past, at which point, the man sexually assaulted her over her clothing.

The force is releasing an e-fit image of the suspect, who is described as white, around 6ft tall with short brown hair and a weak moustache.

He had a skinny build and aged in his mid-20s, wearing a dark blue beanie hat, a black hooded top and possibly light grey baggy cotton trousers and trainers.

The victim did not sustain any injuries.

Investigating officer Detective Inspector Scott Whelan, of the Priority Crime Team, said: “This incident has occurred along the Jubilee River in the middle of the afternoon, and so I believe there will have been witnesses to what has happened.

“As a part of our investigation, I am releasing an e-fit image which depicts the man we would like to speak to in connection with this incident.

“I appreciate that incidents such as this will cause concern in the local community, but I would like to reassure residents that we are conducting a thorough investigation and there will be an increased police presence by way of increased patrols while this investigation continues.
