We have been made aware that drivers are moving the 'Road Closed' signage on Denchworth Road, between Denchworth and Grove. Please be aware that the road is closed by the Highways Agency for the safety of road users, as the conditions are dangerously icy, and have caused a number of minor collisions in the last few days.

It is an offence under Section 174 of the Highways Act 1980 to alter or remove any traffic barrier or sign, and a number of drivers have this evening been advised of this.  

Please drive to the conditions and obey any traffic signs.
